Gemima Prudence is a clever little girl - just look at her sampler cushion. It is all hand stitched with alphabet , numbers,  house and tree. At the bottom is handstiched the phrase :- God bless this house and all who dwell within. Mary Prentice 1831. Just the sort of thing young girls would have stitched in 1870 when there were no computers or telivision for then to watch! The doll too is quite primitive with hand stitching nd raw edged fabric, and buttons.

Gemima has a weighted bottom so she will sit nicely on a shelf or back of a chair or even in a chair.

This cute little angel has so much detail.

She is wearing a lovely red and white gingham dress with floral frill and sleeves. Her apron is a tea stained colour with little fabric patches to match the fabric of her dress. She is wearing stripey socks and felt boots.

In one hand she has a garland of mini stuffed fabric hearts and in the other a padded heart in cord on one side and velvet on the other, attached is a mini stuffed fabric heart with button.

She has raffia wings. Her moth is stitched and her eyes are tiny black beads.

Sadie Mae has aLovely brown cord dress and aged looking fabric oven with lots of detail.

There are 3 little pockets for Sadie to keep her treasures in, each with a handstiched stem and leaves and button flower. Handstitched underneath is the word "happy!".She has felt boots and lovely hand stitched wings with  fabric hearts and stripey bloomers!.

Her hair is plaited wool and in her hand is a really cute rusty looking watering can!

This oh so cute but very primitive bunny has been made  with lots of love by my!

She is heavily stained and aged and to look well worn and loved.

She has vintage button eyes a pinched nose and a green homespun scarf.

She has a little red homespun pocket at the front in which she keeps her dried sweet annie .

These dolls have lots of detail and have been  treated to m ake them look aged and timeworn.They have curled wire hair, red homespun and beige fabric clothing with handstitched  wool hearts . Annie is holding a string of aged wooden bobbins and has a rusty tin heart attached. Andy is holding some aged wooden bobbins and a wooden rule. He also has a tape measure round his neck and a rusty tin star.
